Default Need stainless exhuast flex joint

I am trying to find a supplier for stainless steel flex joints for exhaust systems. I've searched the web with not great results. Anyone know of a place to get some?

Figured I might as well update my custom exhaust system on the track car while it's up in the air getting a 5 speed conversion done. Also found a really light weight race muffler that is re-packable that weighs less than 3 lbs. for a 12" model to replace my good but heavy Magnflow muffler.

Thanks in advance,
Constantine

Hi Kevin,

Yep, found those already but I need a 3.5 inch ID version. Sorry to not have mentioned that little fact. Really appreciate the help though!

Cheers,
Constantine

Check verociousmotorsports.com, I think. THey have a fairly wide range of stainless. Other, potentially slower avenues to pursue include stainless works and stainless specialities, both have websites although I don't recall the specific URL. Personally I don't like quality of the pacesetter stuff.

Hi Kevin,

That's Pacesetter again and the flex joint is 3" ID and 3.5" OD. I need the 3.5" ID size but I thank you for the effort!

I will check out the verociuos motorsports site and see what they have, SMTCapecod. I've worked with Stainless Specialties in the past and they were the ones I had build my custom SS 3.5 inch exhaust with a custom 3" Y to the 3.5" single exhaust. They don't have the flex joints though.

Hi John,

The custom Y pipe I mentioned above is just a smidge off on one side which does not let it seat against the header collectors on that side causing a exhaust leak. No big deal but since the exhaust is off the car I thought to address a few issues that have been bugging me and this is one. The flex joint would let the Y pipe seat against the header collectors correctly.

I've purchased SS pieces from Verociuos when building my exhaust. Nice stuff at a fair price. Only comment is that it made a heavy than I expected system for the track car.

I ask about the flex, since it isn't as smooth as a regular pipe and will cause some restriction. Thought about having it heated and bent a bit?
