Default ebay member who sells lots of 928's, any good??

i wanted to ask you guys if any of you have heard of an ebay member named XNFL14. He sells quiet a few 928's and they seem to be nice cars. Has anyone ever bought from him or know anything about him? The name of his company is E&H motors. Thanks for your input.

Supposedly he's all internet sales now. At least that is what he told me when I was looking at two of his cars last year. My good bud bought an 89 5spd from him a few years ago and had some issues that got relatively worked out.
He does seem to find some rather nice examples. Do a search on here for him. You'll find some spirited dialog.

I would avoid doing business with him from all I have heard and read. Others may have different opinions, buyer beware.

I know of several people who bought 928s from them and were not very happy about the condition of the cars. A dealer friend of mine bought one from him and ended up sending it back. Another friend of mine drove from Columbia, SC to Pitt with a trailer in tow only to make the drive back without the 928. Be careful.

IMHO, he is a spit shine artist and a pretty good one at that... Do a search on XNFL14 and decided for yourself. A few seem to think he is being unfairly judged despite all the warning signs.

Wow if it's the same guy that Greg bought a car from way back when I would definitely stay away. Scary story. PM Greg for the story, it's amazing how far this guy will go to sell a car.

Bridgeville, PA? I would stay away from anybody that discourages walk-ins. That should be self explanatory.

Lardog: You seemed to show up here only to try and sell your car, without ponying up $16 to be a rennlist member. If you stick around, fine.
I am a realist, not a pessimist. Good 928s are hard to find, probably 9 out of 10 for sale will need about $10K (less d.i.y.) thrown into them right away..........including that white '86.5 automatic with (maybe) 38K miles on it. Broken odometer gear? Very frequent.
I love 928s but I don't love 928 owners who are cheap or resellers who don't care to be honest and straight. These cars can cause plenty of headaches for the unsuspecting buyer, one needs to be very careful buying a 928.

I bought one from him through Ebay in May 05. I couldn't resist the color combination, but I paid top dollar for a car that had only 49k miles on it. I didn't realize until i went to SITM that I had no front spoiler or pans underneath the drivetrain. He sent me a used spoiler as compensation. In Feb of this year the torque tube sheared in half. Now I am having front end problems on a car with reasonably low mileage. By the way I've only put 5k miles on the car. It may be just me, but I'm gunshy about taking the car any great distance. However, I did drive it from his place to northern Alabama without a problem. I supposed its a toss-up but based on the other comments here it makes one wonder. Walt

Carl is absolutely right. These cars are getting up there in age and many have changed hands a few times now. Who knows what these cars have truly been through, all you can do is trust the last owner and hope they're being honest. This particular seller has done some very dishonest things in the past, why give him the opportunity to do it again. People like this should lose their license to sell vehicles.
