Default Victory at the Concours- 928-style. :)

1st in class, runner up for best in show: lost due to a cat hair in an air vent, & a bumper-cover scratch from the previous owner: not too shabby though.

I wish there were more pictures: photographer was a little 911 bias I think: anyone else experience that within their regions??

Congrats Mark, that is quite an accomplishment.

I'm sure if you were showing a 911 in that kind of condition you would have taken best in show. No doubt that judges are biased. I noted similar biased votes in MBCA, the older cars always recieved more attention. MBCA didn't even have concours classes for late model cars (anything younger than 15 years), they were all lumped together.

You may be doing this already but if not I suggest becoming a judge and getting to know the other judges. Many times the lack of attention is due to the lack of knowledge on the cars. Hopefully they will eventually come around and realize just how great these cars are and that Porsche wasn't fooling around when they designed these machines.

I was a judge, & everyone knew the history on my car. I it was just this year that points were no longer valid in considering mileage (which I would not have an advantage @ 13k miles), or age (where I would have won if points were awarded). Nuts.

Cat gets on me, I get in car, cat DNA now in car: the way it goes.

Why the F wouldn't they give points based on age & non-restoration? My car looks within 5 months old from brand new, unrestored: no points/consideration in judging. I think that's wrong.

Are you sure it was cat hair from your cat? Given that the judge was 911-biased and there was no consideration given for the original state of your car, I could use a "cat-like" name for the judge, which could also possibly explain the origin of the hair; but I'll be nice...

Nice looking car - Post more pics!
