1. Non-sunroof w/ racing shells is a guaranteed fit. Sunroof w/ shells like Recaro SPG is going to be close.
2. No one has long term (years) experience racing a supercharged 928. Not that it couldn't be done, but it hasn't been done yet.
3. 997S is 355 hp at 3100 lb? Get a 928S4, throw headers/exhaust on it and gut it from 3500 to 3100 lb and it should turn about the same lap times.
4. Not plentiful like a 997. No off-the-shelf spring/damper combos like PSS9, JRZ, Moton Clubsport, etc. For a full track suspension, it's going to be a custom designed application from Devek or 928 Motorsports. Leda has a kit I think.

997S is about 3100lbs yes w/355 hp and just under 300 lb ft of torque.

Do you want to just do DEs or race? If you want to race, an SC will probably bump you into a class you would have a hard time competing in unless you spend a lot of money. I can think of 4 supercharged track cars. I think only Carl's is drivable right now. One has a blown engine. One is smashed. I don't know what's wrong with the other one.
DK's car looks like a great deal for a ready to rock track car. If you're going to build a racecar, look closely at what classes you can race in. Around here, I think SuperCup (fun spanking 944s and 951s) is the best option but other regions would have different options. Mark Kibort races ITE which I've been told is nearly dead around here. The northeast racers are in PCA. Mark Anderson and Joe Fan race POC. Check what your options are. That will help you determine what car and setup you'll need.
