Resolution:
If you didn't see the glazed flywheel and leaky RMS, read this threrad.
Anyway, I installed the Spec Stage 3+ clutch. It barely fits in there, but it did fit. They must have a stock of old release bearings, because the kit came with the old style. Luckily, I had saved my old clutch fork and guide tube.
Initial reaction is that this thing grabs like a [insert favorite metaphor]. They say it is a streetable clutch, but I in my forst 20 miles or so, it isn't that friendly. It's almost impossible to feather the clutch. Maybe becasue the friction disc is so new? ANyway, I'll drive with it for a while and see if I can get used to it.
One thing that is quite different is teh engage/disengage point ont he clutch pedal is very high - almost at the very top of the pedal. I'll look it up later, but does anyone know if this is adjustable?
Overall, I think this will be the ticket to harnessing all that power!
