Need a new coolant tank

The coolant expansion tank / reservoir has developed a small fracture on the top, and when the coolant gets hot and pressure builds, liquid and bubbles start squirting out through the little crack.
I'm thinking that while I'm going through all the effort (I pulled the washer tank, fender, and washer nozzle too), I might as well spring for a brand new tank. I don't want to buy a used one, just to save $$, and have that start leaking in a few months.
I know I could get a used tank for pretty cheap, but the best price I can find on a new one is $100 shipped from one of those universal world-pac car parts websites. Ebay prices are similar, factoring in tax. Is there a better price out there? Any thoughts on getting a new/used tank?
Anything else I should look into while I have the fender off and the expansion tank out?
Thanks guys,

try sunset porsche, or 928 intl
Sorry dont have numbers offhand.
Its probably a really frusterating job, i thought about doing it when the engine was out of the car and couldnt bother myself to do it honestly, i imagine its a real PITA though, I need to loosen mine to replace the coolant level sender.
But since your going through the trouble to replace it, replace it with a new one, and i wouldnt buy off ebay honestly, try one of our many great 928 vendors. I wont be suprised if 928 Intl has a half dozen new ones in stock ready to ship out same day.
Good luck

Yeah man, removed both front fenders for the upcoming respray. Luckily the tank started leaking before the paint job, otherwise I'd have to pull the fender AGAIN. It wasn't easy, but I had to do it if I wanted decent results.
I'm not sure if one can replace the coolant tank with the fender still on. If it is possible, it must be a huge PITA. It was already pretty hard taking it out with the fender off. Having the fender off let me stand closer to the engine bay, it also let me remove the washer filler neck, which gets in the way of the coolant tank.
Scott, your tank has low mileage, but how old is it? If it's still white (not yellow) I'll take it.
Jason, wow, $350 is ridiculous. For RHD cars, why not just put the coolant tank on the left?

yep crazy price, and the metal y pipe was around $300 (should have had one made), lots of RHD specific parts are more expensive, just because of the added exclusivity i guess... Tank is pretty simple to replace on a RHD car, probably a 15 minute job once you have done it once.

Changed mine this weekend. $115 from 928Inc.. Took about four hours, but I work slow in order to metabolize the beer at a rate that does not have me hooking things up backwards. It's the 2nd one I've done and I would rate it a 5 on the 1-10 PITA scale.

Yeah, just considering how long it takes to remove it again, I think that justifies the extra investment now.
Plus, since I'm about to get the car repainted, the new coolant tank will be a nice touch in the engine bay.
