I'm looking for a little assistance from a PCA member. Apparently you need a subscription to browse the Porches for sale at their website ($40 for me as a non-Porche owner to join for 6months). Would anyone be willing to see if there are any 928s4 or GTs for sale for me? Looking for a manual transmission. 1989 or newer. Less than approx. 80,000 miles. Looking to spend between $18,000-25,000.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Dan

I think you will have better results if you start a thread with the title "Looking to spend $18k - $25k on an S4-GT"
Thanks for the reminder - I need to re-join PCA one of these days.

Why not find the $18.00 it takes to join Rennlist (and you don't have to own a Porsche to join). Rennlist has a member - member classified section and a member - member wanted to buy section. Membership is good for two years.
Just MHO, as a Rennlist member, and a PCA member.

Search this Forum for "for sale." There were several suitable within the last week or so.
If you have to join Rennlist before you can search, so much the better. ;-)
It's well worth it. Much more so than PCA for a 928 owner/searcher, imo.

I let my PCA membership lapse a year or so ago, i wasnt really impressed with it, but then again i probably didnt use all the services they offer but for $30 a year or whatever its pretty good, i used to love the PCA magazine but now it seems to cover allot more club racing stuff then what i'm personally interesrted in. So i just load up on all the porsche magazines for all the news and how-to and technical stuff.

If you have a Porsche, it's $42/yr for PCA. The Quest program is for non-Porsche owners. Much like any other organization, what you put into it may determine how much you get out of it. I belong to the BMWCCA and pretty much just get it for the magazine. So far that's worth it to me. I'm too busy with PCA stuff to go to the BMWCCA events. I just came back from the Escape to Fingerlakes weekend and over 70 PCAers. It was a blast. They had it dovetailed into the Zippo Gran Prix. Got to see some cool old cars on display, racing and went on a great tour with twisty roads.

I was a member for a year. The magazines sucked and our local 928 crowd crashed all their parties anyway. Didn't see a reason to renew.
