Less than two weeks!

The weather has been beautiful here lately, all you northern sharks need to come down and enjoy the Fl. sunshine with us.

I haven't had any luck with anyone I've contacted. Oh well, maybe we'll meet some new Georgians while we're there.

Well Mike, we're all very glad that you can make it down to join us for the fun! You can be the Georgia 928 rep at out 1st annual Sharks at Daytona OktoberFast!! Then you can go back & spread lots of positive PR to all your other Peach State Sharkers so they'll all want to come down next year!

uhhhh Hey Mike, any chance you'll be bringing down that Linen/Linen '90 Shark of yours??? Had the same exact color combo on the 1990 964 cab I had for five years.... would love to see a shark in the exact same colors!

Maybe. It made it home today with no problems, just a couple of quirks that I need to search the archives for. It will definitely need new tires before the trip and I'm not planning to put new rubber on the 16" Design 90s so I guess that means new wheels and tires in the next two weeks. That's doable if I can decide what to put on it. The next question is will Gina drive because I'm driving the GT. I haven't been behind the wheel since June and I'm starting to get twitchy athough spending today with the new S4 helped.... a lot.

Thanks, She ran great and ice cold AC too. The tires looked OK but they were noisy as hell and a lot of shimmy over 75 mph. I think that was a blessing in disguise because it probably saved me a ticket near Lake City.

Damn, I'm jealous, I won't have my new Shark in time for what sounds like a great outing....waiting for a PPI then need to get it back from the north left coast!

Sorry fellow Georgians, I would like to help represent you.

Have a great Oktoberfast!

Would that north left coaster be a 88 S4 Black/Tan?

I hope it is...just soooooo many miles away.....I hope it is as good as it looks? I think it is a beautiful car. I can hardly wait to get the PPi done, then finish the deal.

Mike: If you need some wheels...I just took some 10 spoke Porsche wheels off my 993 with good Conti tires.

The take off's are 17". See the picture, this is before I added my new black top and 18" wheels: Second picture is with 18" RH cup style wheels, which would look nice as well???

Sorry everyone no intention to hijack your thread... Excuse the 993 pictures, they are to show some wheels. Just mentioning wheels to Mike which he needs before the Datona trip.

So Mike, you just purchased the '90S4 Linen/Linen Shark?? Didn't see anything on it for sale anywhere... and was this car for sale here in Florida right under my nose too??? Darn!!!! Shadowknight, was this your car?? Have we met previously?? Not sure who you are over there in Clearwater??? Are you on our Fla 928 email list?? Make sure to say hello at Daytona. I've been hoping one day to find a Linen/Linen shark for sale! Hope you can bring it to Daytona Mike, would love to see it!!

Mike, either of those on wheels the 993 would look great, especially the RH's.... I'd love to have those, just a bit $$ for me right now. If you are looking for an economical wheel/tire combo with a popular 928 look, Tire Rack has the 17" Cup 1's(like the factory C-2 Turbo) wheels from Sport Edition(former Mille Miglas) at a great price. Similar to the RH's, just not 18" & not three piece or as nice looking to me. I just got the SE Cup 1's with some nice Kumho All Seasons for about $1300 delivered. And their warehouse is in Georgia, so it may even be close enough to you to pick up.

Good Luck & See Ya both in Daytona!

Hi Mel. See my previous post "I got another one!" It looks this one sneaked under your radar, luckily for me.
