I am in. What is the hotel situation like? I still need to book one. Any other blown sharks going to be there?
I will be arriving late Friday night so do we have a defined rendezvous point for Friday?

Well I spoke to Don J earlier this week & he just installed twin turbos on his shark AND since he's not finished with his install, he's driving it with the exhausts straight out of the turbos at the front of the engine!! I CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR THAT SHARK HOWL WHEN HE DRIVES IT THRU THE TUNNEL TO THE INFIELD OF THE TRACK!!! Thinkin it'll souind like a NASCAR car or louder!
Cameron, I would think you can still find a hotel, how close to the track is another story. I sent my cell # to everyone on our Fla 928 email list a couple days ago, you can call me once you hit town. I would imagine depending how late on Friday night you arrive, we might be back at the track after coordinating somewhere to eat. We'll have to keep an eye out over the weekend in case there are any nice 968 cabs at the track too!

I'm not even wasting my time with a hotel, the car is comfortable enough to sleep in for a night.
Its looking like I might not be able to make it, if I can it will only be for late friday night/saturday.

Russell & George A will have their motor homes at the track, the wife & I are in a condo on the beach. Not sure if anyone else will be staying at the track. So I imagine once we get something to eat Friday night we will hang out at the track for a while of socialization, unless somewhere more appealing to socialize materializes!

The 928 O.C. Sharks at Daytona party has officially started!
George (sharkbody), and I arrived at the track simultaneaously and have the motorhomes set up along the fence between the east horseshoe and the dog leg portion of the infield course.
Now all we need is a bunch more 928's.
Come on out!

Hey guys sorry I couldnt make it, my car broke down on the way, three weeks of being a 928 owner and im asking myself what in the world have i gotten myself into. Makes me what to reconsider selling off my 944. Anyway as I was waiting for a tow truck I noticed that I don't have a tow eye. Anyone have one they would like to get rid of?
