According to this, the CD-2's are Alpine units, so maybe check with an Alpine repair specialist (if any still exist)?

Good thing it's not a Blaupunkt - people tend to hoard even the cheap dead ones from remote countries!

Love the color of that interior R. Pires!



By the way this repair worked great. I decided not to try and bend the metal tab back straight...I didn't feel comfortable trying to mess with it with the force I'd need to apply and the door panel already in bad shape around it...it went together just fine.
