Any other early '78 owners have this perforated screen in the bottom of their air-oil separator? Never seen one like this before.

Used for test of cylinders deactivation. Early for a 1981 MY car, isn't it?

Name code: B38.
The Museum also owns B40, a similar car, but in Pazificblau instead of Hellblaumetallic.
