So- In 1989 Rest of World market, there were 7 Clubsports and 358 '89 GTs. 364 of these 365 cars had the option code I393 for the Clubsport wheels. I assume they're all fitted with RDK. (There's one German market '89 GT that doesn't have the option code, not sure if that was an omission or intentional)
I agree with Rob.
You could add 2 or 4 GT prototypes, I think. I have found 2 for the moment, but think that there maybe was two others.
And now, the non-RDK cars were:
- 1987: 4 prototypes+4 pre-productions for the pilots
- 1988: 12 CS's and 42 SE's+ the GTE
- 1989: 115 US and Can. 928 GT's
So, we talk about around 178 cars, plus maybe some other special order cars.
Picture of the interior of a CS rim from one of pilots preproduction, produced the 15th week of 1987, if I'm correct.

Ok. What do you two know that I don't? What info do you have that makes you assume all (most) RoW CS wheels had RDK? Anecdotal? Observational with a small N data set? Was RDK a "standard" option to pump the sticker in '89 RoW? M393 is, of course, CS wheels. RDK is M482. I would think that joining the query for M393 and M482 would result in the actual count of delivered CS RDK wheel sets (for 928s.)

EDIT: Add a photo, dammit!
Lol. You were almost mouse bait.

(*) I thought about editing that to comply with the new reality. But, no.Not going there. (And that's it for P&C.)

There were only 10 M482 928s, 10 of the 11 first 1989 RoW. I would need to check, but think that they were pre-production cars, produced during the 1988 model-year.
Half were manual cars, and all were S4's.
All the 1989 RoW 1989s were delivered with the RDK, to my knowledge, and I can prove it for the GT's. Here is an extract from the 1989 GT booklet.
