this is true for the "old" only steel clutch release bearings…. but the later ones with a plastic liner may NOT be greased on the guide tube according manual.... the grease may swell the plastic and seize the guide... i think. ??

That is correct. The tech bulletin is incorrect since the mid-90s when pre-GTS throw-out bearings became NLA forcing the upgrade of the release arm and guide tube.
The other problem is that posting to the Random Picture Thread without a new picture attracts mice.
