Yes, it was, and a great race too with Porsche winning GTLM. Wish I'd taken my better camera as this would have been a spectacular shot. As the overall winning Prototype car crossed the finish line, they launched the fireworks. The winning 911 is the blurry white car below them going through the final turn on the way to victory.
The 91GT named Schrödinger is just about done. I have better pictures on my good camera but, alas, my CF reader has died. So, for know, shop camera pictures will have to do.
^^^^^ What paper are you using, Rob? I've been using Papilio but it doesn't seem to hold up well on the radiator. In fact, I now just replace them every year during winter maintenance.
Not my car - someone posted on Rennlist a couple years ago.
Nice day yesterday with the Rennlist Canada group on our annual fall cruise. 5 928's sure surprised the 911 crowd. Daniels 89 was looking sharp, now I need to make my engine look as good as his.
Bruce- I use the same Papilio paper you do- it seems to hold up as long as they stay dry, which works in SoCal but notsomuch elsewhere. Another option is Inkjet metal's Satin gold sheets, which are much thicker but stupid expensive and you need a commercial grade cutter to trim the corners. http://www.inkjetmetal.com/booksmart...-a4-10-sheets/
