I am honored, Tony. We had a surprise at Camp 928, Wayne's car, whose unusual color (an error by a stoned painter) is now fully in style, Stoned Gray.
Wayne's recounting of his adventure with getting his car painted is one of the funniest stories I've ever heard.

And, to get into the spirit of the thread, here's a pic of my 'surrogate' 928 while I'm away from home. I hope Ferris enjoys the attention, because after I get back it's going to be time to get Stitch ready for Frenzy!
Posting this pic from 2006 to say I’m back… ... and to remind myself that the drivability, CIS, etc. issues I’m having now are minor compared to an engine out rebuild! ;-)I have to say there are some very pretty cars here, whether time capsules or restorations, I feel very plain. A lot has changed since the days of the old email list digest days!

928 GT R Thank you for the kind words. Timing belt and water pump are easier when the engine is on the stand. ;-)
Easy way to clean intake spider. (I'm not as brave as you might think - Dishwasher had been replaced, before scrapping the old one, I connected input to output, filled with simple green and ran it.)
