And at the time it was Porsche's 'big' car.
And, to get into the spirit of the thread, here's a pic of my 'surrogate' 928 while I'm away from home. I hope Ferris enjoys the attention, because after I get back it's going to be time to get Stitch ready for Frenzy!

^^^ Cool Shot Bertrand ^^^.
I might just have to jump into the artsy side of posting here.
Problem is... None of my cars are perfect specimens!

Cool pic 928 GT R.
The only time my parts were nice and shiny...
Posting this pic from 2006 to say I’m back… ... and to remind myself that the drivability, CIS, etc. issues I’m having now are minor compared to an engine out rebuild! ;-)I have to say there are some very pretty cars here, whether time capsules or restorations, I feel very plain. A lot has changed since the days of the old email list digest days!

CFM928. ^^^^^^^^^ You have done all that and feel plain? Geez I've been challenged just doing a timing belt! Great work!

Thanks. Easy Intake clean
928 GT R Thank you for the kind words. Timing belt and water pump are easier when the engine is on the stand. ;-)
Easy way to clean intake spider. (I'm not as brave as you might think - Dishwasher had been replaced, before scrapping the old one, I connected input to output, filled with simple green and ran it.)
