Two examples of fine German engineering. And something OT from a project on my road - vented disks for stringing electrical wires?

Man, it sucks going to the crapper thinking I'm going to look at this thread and see some cool 928 **** only to see a bunch of banter posts. Mods, we're counting on you to clean this up - not all our heroes wear capes.

Good lord man! At least most 928 folks play by the rules on this thread and upload a picture with each post. On the other forums they degrade within a page or two to nothing but pictureless posts. Count your blessings!

But it doesn't mean I'm wrong.

I'm not sure if anyone answered the question about those rear A/C floor bulkhead fittings.

Ah yes, a picture:

Another successful performance enhancement installation ;-)
Must be worth at least 2 additional HP.

Kidding aside, finally a radio that looks like it was designed to blend into a period Porsche interior and packing all the modern-day radio features.

Love the clean lines, uncluttered face-plate and readable display under any lighting conditions. Thank you BergvillFX

P.S. - perhaps the only thing missing to complete the picture of perfection would be having the universally acclaimed and loved orange, silicone gasket wrapped around the face plate ;-)

Greg Brown windage trays. They look so good. Too bad they'll never be seen again.

Todd doesn't do anything unless there is a performance advantage to be gained. Looks had nothing to do with this modification, but really, almost anything looks better than stock manhole cover wheels IMO.

The area around the lug nuts is where the most excess metal can be removed to lighten the wheels.

The job took about 60 hours of hand grinding for each front wheel.

Todd saved about 14lbs of rotating weight per side with the wheel modification, his custom rotor hats & rotors. The rears where not as excessively modified since weight in the rear can be a benefit compared to the front, but he wanted them to somewhat match (OK, so once and a while he does something for aesthetic reasons).
