Not directly 928-related, but this is my first documented foray into serious car stuff. Oh, and it rose to my attention during my epic clean-up campaign for Camp 928. A friend drove me in his VW, which died near a farm. The farmer came out, and remarkably knew all about beetles, knew exactly what was wrong, and quickly found the loose pin for the fuel pump.
