original steel ball joint, torn boot allowed corrosion to develope in the socket promoting wear, and it finally came apart.

Thanks Bertrand. Not as beautiful as your Cobalt Blue '91 though!

Shots of the Slate Blue Metallic '83 S and the Indischrot '88 S4 were taken at our local Porsche Dealer to accompany an article on the "40th Anniversary of the 928" for our PCA Region.
