Gosh, you beat me to it... I was still looking while you already posted the solution.
Euro Model with US Bumperettes? Now, THAT's fairly unusual! I wonder how much easier it would make it to bring this car over here.
Has some adventurous intake tubing also...

I still do not see any bumperettes as the pic of the rear is to dark.
Well spotted.

Thought GTS' had analogue clocks.
Factory must have made too many US bumpers unless that's a customer option.
Does Netherlands require front license plates?

Shot in early 1977, the site was Ludwigsburg. The 928 was elusive as ever in those early months of 1977. Here are a few tucked in beside some 924s and 911s.

Keep them coming, Dan!
Erkka:
This does not look like a true US model to me - US models have rear AC, unless maybe cusstom ordered without. Canadian models would have heated seats instead. This car has neither.
Also notice the color difference between front bumper cover and the rest - might be from a repaint, or a swap of some sort. Only way to find out is ask...

Most likely reason is front and rear collision and used US model bumpers installed after that.
Yes.

Yes.
I think I like your GTS 5 speed as good as I've ever seen. The color and condition are unparalleled. Great and beautiful car! Congratulations on having such an excellent example of the 928 art.

There's always one more 928 I'd like to add to the crowded garage..
