Gosh, you beat me to it... I was still looking while you already posted the solution.

Euro Model with US Bumperettes? Now, THAT's fairly unusual! I wonder how much easier it would make it to bring this car over here.

Has some adventurous intake tubing also...

Or US model with side markers removed? Hards to say if it has kph or mph dial in dash. In any case something strange in that car.

I still do not see any bumperettes as the pic of the rear is to dark.
Well spotted.

Roger,
If you look closely in the upper picture you can see the bumperettes. They are gone on the lower picture (The one with the "D" sticker).
Strange

Did some very quick color editing on the photo. 5 mph bumpterettes should be little more visible now.

That is because it shows another car, Erkkas own.

Thought GTS' had analogue clocks.
Factory must have made too many US bumpers unless that's a customer option.
Does Netherlands require front license plates?

That is analogue. Reflection from plastic makes it look little wierd.

Most likely reason is front and rear collision and used US model bumpers installed after that.

Yes.

Shot in early 1977, the site was Ludwigsburg. The 928 was elusive as ever in those early months of 1977. Here are a few tucked in beside some 924s and 911s.

Keep them coming, Dan!

Erkka:

This does not look like a true US model to me - US models have rear AC, unless maybe cusstom ordered without. Canadian models would have heated seats instead. This car has neither.

Also notice the color difference between front bumper cover and the rest - might be from a repaint, or a swap of some sort. Only way to find out is ask...

Vilhuer,

I think I like your GTS 5 speed as good as I've ever seen. The color and condition are unparalleled. Great and beautiful car! Congratulations on having such an excellent example of the 928 art.

Harvey
There's always one more 928 I'd like to add to the crowded garage..
