New Alpine head unit - CDE 153EBT
Got my new Alpine head unit in with a Rockford Fosgate amp in the factory space by the passenger seat. Very happy, sounds great with the original speakers still in it, and it is a tidy installation. 
Got a fright though, driving home listening to music on the new unit and switched on the fan and AC.... didn't go.
No power to the AC button, no power to the fan.
Immediate panic, got home and searched out all the threads on the aircon system. Spent hours reading it through. Could be the fuse, relay, the relay in the control unit....... some very helpful threads though.
Decided to start simple and make sure the fuse was okay. Opened up the panel and found the fuse missing in position 37... they'd forgotten to put it back in when they'd installed the HU. Happy days, a $0.90 7.5 amp fuse purchased and all is good again.
Having just spent 2 grand on the fuel pumps I was a very relieved individual! My daughter won her water polo tournament so the weekend turned out just fine!

I've seen this thread many times but never thought of adding my two cents. The car is 1987 purchased new at the factory for our 25th wedding anniversary. We are now at 52 years and still have the car here in the Wyoming Rockies.
