I met up with an ex colleague/mentor I hadn't seen for 15 years. He bought his (2nd) 928 in 1986 for $141k. A lot of money at that time! Sold a tranche of shares which apparently dived from $1.20 to 5c a year later. He's quite happy with that mad decision , and here is the car today. I'm trying to convince him not to part with it. My car needs some more friends

Went to Mount Washington, NH last weekend with our PCA group.
Beautiful place and wonderful group of people.
We were joined by two other PCA clubs from New England.
After a private BBQ at the base saturday evening, we drove to the top of the mountain.
Super nice evening.

Does your s/o know exactly what you're doing those long hours in that garage?
Creative things to do with scrap diamond plate when the arm rest console finds a better home....

Tinted Windows on my 928
Had my 928 back windows tinted for this years Laon Classic Rally in France. Just in time as it was extremely hot so the tint kept a lot of the sun out. Back window & 1/4's with 75% tint and front driver's & passenger windows matched up in a lighter 50% tint so as not to affect the MOT but to match up the tint reflection on the windows all round.
Wish I could get the front window done too - that's the only window we suffered from Sun attack
Great driving weekend!
