Do photoshop effects only work on dark-colored cars? What can be done with a white one...?

New cross-drilled rotors and Hawk Ceramic pads. Thanks to Sean for the install.

After I killed the GTS motor, I had the oil cooler ultrasonically cleaned to remove residual engine bits from it. Then I snapped off one of the mounting bolts, so Greg timeserted that. 1000 miles on the stroker and it started to weep at the seam by the return pipe that runs along the back. So time for a new cooler. This is what you get as a replacement these days:

Apparently Modine bought Langerer and Reich in 1993. Perhaps the core was built before the acquisition and they just slap a sticker on it?

^^^ I wish they would sell those mounting tabs for the spoiler as separate items... I could use a few of those.

The ad below shows one of the very first 928 models built. Note that it does not have the bumper beading, yet, and the louvers in the bumper are in body color, and the driver side wiper has a special little spoiler.

Starting to get cold here in Norway, now. About time to fit the winter tires.

Aluminum heads, steel exhaust manifolds, different rates of thermal expansion. The accordian is there to accomodate.

Default New suspension

Chuck, what setup did you go for? And are you happy with ride comfort?
I'm looking at the "Hypercoil + Koni Suspension Kit" from 928 motorsports but can't decide what spring combo to go for, currently I'm leaning towards 500 Front and 350 Rear.

Meg,

I thought a long time about this one.

I talked to a bunch of folks. AO, Chuck Zackman, Rog, Jim Mayzurk, Greg Schickel, etc, etch....

If I wanted a "Cush" ride, I would have just gone w Stock Boge shocks.

I think I could have got firm, but not crazy with the koni/hypercoil shock setup.
That would have been pretty firm and not crazzzzy!!

I decided to go w the bilstein/eibach setup.
Pretty happy w this one.

TO be honest w you, I drive a Chevy Eqinox as a company car.
I drive it every day.
11,000 miles so far and my GTS feels no more harsh than this Equinox dailey driver.

I like the firm feeling of the GTS!!
Way better than the stock setup!!!

Could it feel more like a Caddilac??? Uh, yeah!!

Do I want it that way, Uh No!!

I'm good w "sporty" feel that I have w the B/E setup!

In my opinion the Boge and Eibach combo is too soft. I did it and wish I had gone to a firmer set up. It is a comfortable ride though.
