Adding the body color red stripe would help a lot IMHO!

Well... Here's a crude photochop. It's too much red IMHO.

It looks better with the red though, try a thinner stripe. I also agree polishing the lip would look good too, kind of like the older 911's with Fuches.

That is beautiful Shane, it'd be hard to leave a place like that. Nice to have it to go back to. Is that the Snake below or a lake?

EDIT: Not my motor below ( I had to post something!) I believe this is Tom Cloutier's set up.

Default Different garage pic...

Hi, guys.
This is my first post here. So far I´ve enjoyed this forum very much. It´s very easy to find inspiration here when You´re in doubt.
Now I´ve decided to post a couple of pics of my latest project.
About 2 months ago I was driving around on a friends quad bike and I found a 928 on one of the small suburb streets I was cruisin´. I was a bit curious, so I stopped to take a look. I found a red sticker on the wind screen that said "Move this piece of s**t immediately!!". (Not really, but almost.) It looked a bit banged up, but totally rust free. I looked underneath and found no hanging drops of any fluid. A guy was walking along the street towards one of the villas there. I asked him if it was his car, as it was standing outside his house. He told me an ex friend of his owned it and that he had more or less abandoned it. My spontanious reaction to that was "-What an idiot!". He agreed. He told me that there was some kind of problem with the engine. The left cam housing had been changed, but the idiot couldn´t make it run. I knew, as me and my brothers have a garage with lots of fun stuff, that I could make it run properly at a relatively low cost. After a short conversation I asked him if he could arrange so that I could buy it from the idiot. Later that day I was the proud owner of a -78 Porsche 928. The previous owner was handed one of my cars as payment. A Mercedes 300 -89 that I´d paid about $2000 for. I felt that I´d done a good deal.
With it came a 928S replacement engine that I´m currently putting together. That was the engine the "new" cam housing came from.
Sorry for the long story...

Welcome! Nice OB you have there. I noticed something dangling from below. Were you in the middle of a fuel pump fix?
