And we have a match. I managed to save the vin decal and re-applied to the refinished bumper. Just need to get a new 928s4 decal the one I ordered came with a staple through two numbers.

Started winterizing the toys. It is interesting how the GT4 and 928 are so similar in size. Overall the 928 is slightly longer and narrower and the GT4 is slightly shorter but wider. Makes for easy winter storage as I built the garage with the intention of storing nothing but air-cooled 911's which are tinny in comparison. The 928 and GT4 will remain on call while I put the 911's to bed. Still leaves me room to use the lift and work on one of the two 911 track cars this winter.

Proportionally the two are quite similar. Easy to line up in the garage by just lining up the side mirrors.

Talk about tight fit. The C2 will squeeze into the opening on the left. This way I can complete my engine build and install it in the car soon. I will continue to drive the 928 and GT4 until the salt comes.

Tight fit...? Man you have no idea what tight fit is..... You see that small opening to the right...? There's where I will fit...

I must wipe her down a bit, a lot of prints since the hood insulation install and resulting hood-fitment...
