First a little adwise . Allways keep spare pair of glasses I do ! .Stick is rightside, front of engine between engine and belt's, mine is yellow in the top. Sunroof switch is prob. like window switch - take of side panel ( the carpet part ) of center consol 2 or 3 screews, right or left side depending witch way the cable goes around the gearstick, my guess would be right side ! Switch cable lengt is aprox 20 inch and you should find and connector, disconnect old...connect new. Should be pretty easy......

The dip stick is tight to the right side of the front cam belt covers ( your left when facing the car), tucked in admidst the v-belts: An '83 may have a wire loop top vs. the higher tech yellow top of later models

Do NOT use 10W-30 motor oil ... go with a 5W-40 to a 15W-50 ( it's the 40 or 50 that is important vs the 30 weight).

I use 20W-50 in both of mine except in the winter. It takes 7.6 quarts of Oil when changing with filter. Then check after running and see if you need more , should be between the top two marks on the dip stick. Good luck with your new purchase. ( it is normal to use some oil ).

On my car the dipstick is usually standing in front of the engine trying to get the long wiggly thingy in the oil level testing hole place down there in the dark.
