I love it!! I contacted 928 Intl about a core wheel and they wanted a hundred bucks. I am going to have to wait on mine since I drive it often enough that I don't want to be without the wheel for a couple weeks. How di you end up getting the cover off the airbag? Is it necessary to send the airbag or do you just need the cover?

unfortunately, I don't have an airbag core on hand. You can't remove the cover from the airbag, so you have to send me the airbag and I install the cover on the unit. Neither FedEx or UPS have a problem with it.
Once covered, the airbag unit installs and functions just like before.

You might have seen one with a shark scene engraved on the top, like this:
The price is $200.00
That includes a new leather cover for both the lid and the base with French stitching in the GTS style installed on your core. It also includes a suede interior like this:
And the engraving of our choice.

Got home today and opened the box! OMG! It it so beautiful! Way better than in the pictures. The little indents on the sides are not nearly as visible as the picture makes them. I feel like I'm driving a new car! Thanks Paul & Linda. You guys do fantastic work!
