I think he gets it.

My car is red, I just finished installing a supercharger, and that's a picture of my beer fridge from a few months back

It's all good. This is the first thread I ever started on Rennlist... just reminiscing

Four years and well over a thousand posts, first step. Beer fridge like that is a sign of serious experience and leadership skills.

But dump the $2chuck before somebody gets sick from it.

2 Buck Chuck is one of the things I miss about California.

Good News: Trader Joe's now carries a $3 bottle that's more than 50% better. Or the 2 buck chuck is more than a third worse...

A month or two ago, on the way to celebrate Mother's Day with the whole family at my sister's place, we stopped at one of the larger 'specialty' liquor and wine places. On a lark, I looked around the gallon jug section for a bottle of Spanada. That was her cheap college student buzz of choice way back when. None available at the Vendome store for some reason.

For the record, I'm not a real wine snob like Roger; I do believe though that if you don't spend at least $3.50 a gallon, you probably won't get a premium wine.

Thanks to the state tax rules for California wines here, and all the extra taxes on motor fuels, it's easy to find a gallon of wine that costs less than a gallon of premium gas. Go figure! And bottled water at the gas station costs more than the gas. Yes, that means that wine is cheaper than water here. But I still can't walk around with a sports bottle of pinot.
