Yeah, in retrospect it almost seems obvious, and others more or less said so here. I knew it was only the shock gas pushing back. I knew it was low pressure, but I still thought it was odd to see such a difference.

I have a few inquiries already. You're certainly on the short list.

It may take me a month to decide which to keep. Hopefully it will be clear after the first install and I won't need to do a swap.

Well, I need to install the new Konis at some point just to answer the question as to what the H* was going on these last 3 years with the old Konis. Let's say the new Konis are GREAT based on my local test loop. I will probably take them to the Pony Express. If not, off they come and on with the Bilsteins. I should have time. I could go about it the other way and end up happy with the Bilsteins but I would never know the final answer on the Konis. I have my own spring compressor now, so I can do this pretty quick especially with the recent tip on an easier way to do the fronts.

I'm there right now.... My BOGE / OEM coils are done and Im looking at Carl's Koni / Hypercoil set up or again a Bilstein / Eibach from 928 Int'l... I dont race my car and have a limited budget to give too...Considering the fair reputation of the manufacturer's I'm inclined to go with Carl Fausett's kit because of the coil selection and slim fit for a nice wider wheel fitment too...
Without going full race and paying big coin - the Koni ext. adjust. shock is a good choice or should I go for the Bilstein ?
