It took me awhile to complete this install due to other obligations, but I made myself make the time to finish it up today. Tightened the clamps, double checked the entire system, Fired it up and sat there wondering what a 1987 s4 5spd. chipped, x'd and rmb'd ,and now force fed 8 lbs. of the finest boost available. Well, enough wondering. I eased out of the garage and through the development and out onto Rrt. 97 where I knew my favorite flat and level stretch of road was waiting for me - and my new shark. I was like a little kid on Christmas morning as I reached up to program the G-TECH ss pro for go time. Should I drop the clutch?, I asked myself ,or just ease off the pedal and slam the throttle open? I opted for the latter as I rolled off the clutch and romped the accelerator. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!!!!! Unfreakin'believable! Never in my life have I let out a screaming yee-haw, but here it was justified. Result? 0-60 4.3 sec. with a 5900rpm 1-2 shift at 9lbs. of the boost. I know I can get this down to 4 flat or less, given my intentional, but less than stellar launch. I am a happy man, who has something most don't in a 928. That being said I would encourage anyone on the fence about this to just do it. I hemmed and hawed 3 years and I can't believe what I was missing. The car has a perfect idle and fuel/air mix and no out of the box tuning issues to speak of which was a major concern for me. In fact it even behaves better in normal driving as well. This car takes to boost amazingly well considering it's fuel and management systems are left basically stock. I would like to publicly thank Tim Murphy for giving us a reliable out of the box and extremely well supported product. Tim, my hats off to you, your service and support was superb! Now I must go z-06 hunting..................

Congrats!
That first ride always seems to get the same reaction. It is amazing how it transforms it into almost another car. Still well mannered, but Dr Jeckyl/Mr Hyde is lurking. My kids love to go for rides, my daughter got real upset when I picked her up from school in the van instead of the 928(don't blame her!).
Good luck with it!

Wow! Friggen awesome! But 9psi non-intercooled? Isn't that a bit aggressive? I'm only running 7 and I'm intercooled. Maybe I should get DR to send me that smaller pulley?
wasnt the 87 a bit rare in the fact it came with forged pistons? so it could probably handle the extra boost.
andrew olson is right though. an intercooler would be a safer step
has any one changed the compression ratio to say 8:1 and run twin t04e turbos. or even 18 psi on a low compression 928?
