Yeah, mine split at the seam at a 100+ degree track day. Plastic weld didn't work but a narrow strip of duct tape about a foot long, looped round and round, sealed that bad boy right up.

Ahhhh, cool. Thanks for the info, Jim/all. Bill: Just wondered what it was - I'm undergoing a real shark-oriented learning experience here, this PM rehabbing stuff. Inquiring minds, you know. And it's only gonna get worse for me...I just bought a new sharky...numero uno 928turbosports car! Picking it up in 8 days...somehow, I have a feeling I'm gonna be pretty familiar with shark guts before too long, between the two of them...

gas,

I see a crack developing in the first photo. Look closely along the tank seam, just to the right of the upper installed hose.

Looks like JPEG compression artifact to me. Maybe that's how all cracks start.
