Well, no trace of a 6'7" Mexican at the fun drive, but we had fun nevertheless.
The roads were very twisty and quite narrow in places. This was probably one of the slower drives - which was good, cionsidering the radar coverage...
Thanks everybody for coming, and for the great time!

This was a GREAT funride - the route was outstanding! Not much traffic for most of it, twisty as hell, and STUNNING scenery. There were sections of heavy oak canopied road that you rarely see anymore due to development (used to be all around my town as a kid; I miss it). Vast vineyards rolling off into the distance. Oh, yeah, and did I mention twisty road? Let me mention it again - twisty road. I fought my forlorn shocks (Konis in '64 Cadillac emulation mode) but still had a great time as I bounced along. This route is a keeper, and we can add little offshoots to it, as well as winery stops (Trefethan, Rutherford, Deer Park or any of hundreds of others we passed). Wish the route planners, Rich & Beth, could have joined us. We'll have to do this one again soon.

Thanks to Bill for organizing and Greg for leading a beautifull fun drive into wine country. Enjoyed meeting some new Shark owners, but what is up with all the Guards Red Sharks!!!

Yeah, pmotts. We were more in the Berryessa area. Napa 121 to 128 to Chiles/Pope Valley to Deer Park to Silverado back to Napa.

Good to see other sharks out enjoying themselves. One of the great things about the US is how vast it is. But there are days when i wish we were all a bit closer and could share in all that it has to offer. Someday I'll make it out west with my shark and join you guys... someday (dreaming).

I'm so glad you guys had a good time and enjoyed the route we put together. And I agree Bill, there are lots of ways to modify or add to that route.
Rich and I really wish we could have gone - but we were at Infineon for the NHRA Summernationals for which we had bought tickets months ago.
Hopefully we'll make the next one.
