Default Hi! (speakers + window seals - RV)

Hi... I am new here so be gentle!

I just wondered if anyone on here knew the OEM speaker sizes for an 83 S? Thats for the door cards and rear speakers!

Also, the door window rubbers/scrapers - Are they easy to fit? Is it just a case of winding down the windows and prizing up to remove? Mine are all split and perished and I want to change them!!

Any help appreciated! Also, how do I create a signature? I can't seem to find the option in ym user CP.

Best wishes,

Llew

Llew-
Welcome. Not sure the speaker size, but others will know. I have not changed the window scarpers as you call them, so again I can't help you there, but I'm sure someone else will help you.

For the signature (this I know...) You have to be a paid member to establish a signature. It's not a lot of money ($20/year I think) and the information you get from this place will undoubtedly save you 10 times that in repair bills. Plus you then get to see pictures in the posts and you get access to the member only classifide ads and Off Topic forums.

who here on the 928 forums would be the shark audio god?

Stock system is a 2ohm system. AMP was standard, I think.

Yeah I popped it! You could pop yours on my forum too - Check my profile for the link if you are interested

As for the amp, I think they are standard - Mine had one until I removed it the other day... The standard speakers sound shocking with a decent head unit so mine need to be replaced asap. Also, the rears are connected in series with the fronts in my car which is really annoying, so I will have to remove all the original wiring and run new cables for all the speakers when I upgrade them.

I thought you would have to be a member to have a sig etc. I will be joining shortly!

Thanks, Llew
