Thumbs up

Well unfortunately I missed the Gmund.. I had to get back Sunday so left right after dinner & awards Saturday and drove till 3am (to Las Vegas, NM) then off @ 8 am Sunday to drive the last 9 hours home - no incidents, no problems only about 3 radar beeps the whole way - no congestion... Very nice driving day even on freeways all the way - and still arrived home feeling great...

During Saturday's Paragon Motor's event we managed to corral all 6 great looking GTS's that attended for a special Photo shoot. We actually had 7 GTS owners but only 6 cars since Rich drove his S4 instead (shame 7 would be better!).

Heres a brief sample:

Owners L -> R: Roger, Gary, Michael, Joe, Alan, Larry

Also some pictures from the Go-Cart Track Event in the afternoon.

Erik & Gang - super event! I'm sure the Gmund would have made it even better...

Grouping the GTS's was great! but still the best part was finally meeting Roger & Schocki (and extended family) getting to know Marc/Teri, Heinrich & Joe better, the leisurely drive in with Rich & Betsy & meeting many other 928 nuts just like me... Special moment was the look on Teri's face when she got the checkered flag for a victory lap in the Go-Cart race!

Many more people on rennlist now have a face to go with their names and avatars!

To all of my new and old 928 friends,

Well, our OCIC is finished and we all had such a great time over the past four days; it's always sad when the fun has ended and everyone has left. I'm sorry I didn't have the opportunity to say good-bye to everyone at the GMUND yesterday, but thank you all for being part of a truly great experience. I will allways treasure the memories and the friendships that have been created. I look forward to hearing all your stories and seeing all the pictures you have created. Hope to see you all at another 928 event in the near future.

Happy, "928", travels!

Default Denver OCIC - over too soon but a great time!

Hard to believe it came and went already. What a fantastic time and what a great bunch of people. Thanks to Erik Behrendsen and Richard Lang for all their hard work to make this an outstanding event. Also thanks to Schocki for using his Spanner on my GT (no fault codes!) and getting my idle down to normal from the 1000 rpm it's always idled at. Schocki knows how to use it and that tool rocks! It's always fun meeting people and putting a face to those you communicate with and whose posting you read on a regular basis. Beautiful cars and wonderful people!

Is the 928 Owners Club going to send out a list of attendees through it's listserv?
I wasn't able to make it but I'd like to know who did.

What a great event! Saturday was awsome so I kinda figured Sunday would be a bit of a downer. Whoa! Gmund was by far the best Porsche event I have been to. It is hard to explain how neat this event is. Gmund 2008 can't get here soon enough.

Erik, Richard, Scott, Mark, Thanks so much for a great event.

Dan, You the man. I don't care what you say I owe you one.

What a great group of people, I enjoyed you all and can't wait for the next gathering.

Wow - what a great experience and wonderful people.
Great meeting everyone - H, Allan, Joe, Jerre, on&on&on.
Had a great drive back through CO & OK on some back roads with Schocki riding shotgun.
Low flying at 250kph and cruising at 180/200kph for miles was awesome.
Playing poker till 2:00am was a blast - still BSing 928's as we played.
Organization was perfect. Weather was good.
Joined the mile high club again - in my dreams.
Pics to follow.
