This was my first Porsche event in twenty-four years. It was great to meet new friends and renew old freindships. Frendships that went back twenty-five years to my 356 days and also my Zink Formula V racing days.
My thanks go to Erik and Richard for their two year effort in planning this event. Also I would like to thank the sponsors who support the Porsche community.

It's always fun meeting people and putting a face to those you communicate with and whose posting you read on a regular basis. Beautiful cars and wonderful people!

I could say the same thing about your avatar Finer examples of an 86.5 and an 89GT would be hard to find.

Too bad that I forgot to bring a copy of the on board diagnostic instructions. It can tell you a lot about your shark!

Truely Ben, your 86.5 is a drop dead gorgous car. Glad to hear everyone is making it back safely and hopefully without any problems. Please do post any pictures you have. Thanks for all the compliments on the GT, it absolutely left me speachless.

Here is a picture of my 928 and Eric's 911 after they were removed from the trailer. My Friend Eric and his father Joe were there to visit Eric's brother Eben, they both attended the Gmund show. Joe's Porsche Tractor was first place in the Tractor category!

After the Gmund show Eben took Eric and I on his own "hard core" version of the driving tour. I can tell you that these cars handle very well when you push them hard. For some of the hairpins I was looking out of my driver side window to sight my line, it was that tight! I wish I knew the route but i was having too much fun to pay attention to where we were. For the Colorado guys, i can say that we went through Idaho Springs (hwy 109?) and hammered on the new Central City Parkway. Here are a couple of pictures from that drive.
