Any of you own an SRT-8 vehicle?

My friend has one and I drove it around for a couple of days. They handle awful, the car bobs all over the place mid corner and feels like a boat. I usually drive porsches, bmws and audis and have never felt this in any of them. My mom has an Audi allroad and it handles great and it has just as much if not more room than the dodge.

Even if you are in neutral and rolling down a looooooong hill you wont get 35mpg.
EPA spokesperson: "OOoooohhhh... you wanted to know the mileage when all 4 wheels are turning and there is actually *wind resistance*? Geez, who'd a thunk it... Americans want vehicles that get good gas mileage? We always thought Americans just wanted vehicles that *claim* good gas mileage..."

The EPA changed their system of evaluating MPG to a system that does nothing to represent the real world mileage figures. I guess our mother F'ing government is in bed with the auto industry now. You would think that people would have caught on faster with the on board computer displays showing MPG. There should be a class action lawsuit against the government. Think of all the people who bought cars thinking they were fuel efficient and then getting a big surprise at the pump.

I work at a dodge dealer in Seattle and have driven the SRT8s we have (fully loaded chargers and magnums), and I love 'em. Pretty quick cars! Handling of course is nothing to write home about, but it does have a great weight distribution.
Gas mileage on the 5.7s (as in not the SRTs with the 6.1) is actually pretty close to what the stated mileage is of 17 in city and 25 on highway. Of course you're going to get 17 combined if you drive it how us Porsche guys drive :^). When I drive the Hemis at work, I do get that mileage. My city is about 14-16 because I like to stab the gas from time to time, but on the highway when the MDS is on, it does get in the 20s. If you were in the Seattle area or came to Seattle to get the SRT, I'd prove it to you myself ;^).
The SRT8 gets 14 in city and 20 on highway, and thats about accurate too. Think about our 928s. I usually get 16 combined in my S4 and I dont drive it like a grandma all the time. On a trip to Devek Days, I was getting 22mpg on the highway, 20-21 when we would "alternate the lead" :^D. So, those numbers aren't so far fetched if you think about it.
Then again, we dont have the Diesels that they do in Europe because of sulfur and their diesel, or something like that.
If anyone thinks I'm full of sh!7, please call me up and I'll gladly grab a set of keys to one of the cars and prove you wrong :^).
