Default A Couple Of Pics

Hey, just thought this forum could use a couple of pics. Just got her tinted on Monday, 35% all the way around, and I love it...At night I feel like a secret agent or something...guess all I need now is a tux and my Walther and I'll be good. Anyway enjoy the pics...

Its amazing how a lighter car makes the tint seem darker than it is.

Nice pics Parker - where in Virgina did you take them?

I really like those wheels too - what are they and what sizes?

Whitefox - Its actually the interior that makes tint "appear" darker. A black on black car with limited tint would REALLY appear dark!!

Im seriously considering lightly tinting mine now! Unfortunately us VA residents have highly picky (for lack of a better word) bacon!!

Those pics make me want to go out and rip off my side moldings. If only there weren't these big holes hidden underneath them...

Beautiful car!!!

Man you guys are quick...
Bgrabner, if your familiar with the Hampton Roads area, the pics were taken in Newport News.
C.F.,your right about the wheels, 7.5x 10 Sport Classic IIs
BeerFish, I thought long and hard about the tint, legal here in Va is 50% front sides and I think 35 rear sides, and whatever you want on the rear...I stood outside the tint place staring at this car with 50% and I could literally not tell it had tint. We have alot of military here in are area, and there are alot of out of state cars with real dark tint that will probably get messed with before mine

Oh, and the car does have black interior...The real tipping point for me on the tint was seeing a white Lambo Countach in my mall parking lot with real dark tint,Limo? White with Dark windows looked AMAZING. I guess it being a Lambo didn't hurt as well
Thanks all for the coments...

The car looks awesome.
I have a question about the rims.
What are the offsets of the wheels and do they fit sweet ??

Parker- How much did you shell out for the tint job?

Did you pick 35% because that's what you can get legally, or did you not want to go any darker? I'm wanting to get my 944 tinted, and I'm thinking your price may be pretty comparable, and I'm trying to get an idea on the look of the tint as well.

Hey guys, been a long day at work sorry for the wait...
Unit, the offsets are 50 front w/ 225/40s and 65 rear w/ 265/35s. They fit great, except the front center cap or whatever you call them stick out a few mm, and on the rears I can barely slide my index finger between the tire and fender lip...I'll post a pic.
Orbix, I paid $200. I originally wanted 15% but I thought that was kind of pushing it since 50% is considered legal...Va has a front plate law too and I don't have one most of the time. I'm totally stoked with the 35%, no regrets.

Parker,

Beautiful Shark Looking at your front wheel pic, is the center cap not seated?

Parker, if your car never had a front plate or mounting holes drilled for a front plate you can petition for an exemption from the front plate in Virginia. I don't know anybody who has done it, so I don't know how hard it is to get. I found the information on the DMVs site a few years ago.
