Great Porsche Commercials and other stuff (one 928 ad)
Guys,
I asked the 944 board about the "Imagine you were a car . . ." 944 ad from the 80s and was put on to some great Porsche commercials, one of which is a 928 S4 commercial. Good viewing. Page 2 and 3, posts by theedge.

There is official collection of old Porsche ad videos available on VHS. In it are few 928 clips I haven't seen elsewhere. Eventually they should be up for download somewhere.

Three Wheelin'
I was surprised to see that the 924 with a 1984cc engine only got 17mpg city. I remember my 82 being quite good on consumption. Though it might have been the fuel prices were a bit lower.

I have never seen this particular "Flying Mile" 928 commercial...very cool. The "What do you feed a 951?" one is cool too. Jimi Henrix' Purple Haze on violins! lol

Yeah, they put in the automatic clips with a different driver (or at least a different helmet and suit than Holbert had in the flying mile run) - I guess to help market the automatics.
