Default Great Porsche Commercials and other stuff (one 928 ad)

Guys,

I asked the 944 board about the "Imagine you were a car . . ." 944 ad from the 80s and was put on to some great Porsche commercials, one of which is a 928 S4 commercial. Good viewing. Page 2 and 3, posts by theedge.

There is official collection of old Porsche ad videos available on VHS. In it are few 928 clips I haven't seen elsewhere. Eventually they should be up for download somewhere.

I was surprised to see that the 924 with a 1984cc engine only got 17mpg city. I remember my 82 being quite good on consumption. Though it might have been the fuel prices were a bit lower.

Have you noticed that Porsche commercials are short? some don't last more than 10-15 seconds!

I have never seen this particular "Flying Mile" 928 commercial...very cool. The "What do you feed a 951?" one is cool too. Jimi Henrix' Purple Haze on violins! lol

Have it and everything needed for conversion except time and place to put them for download. Will get it done eventually. Also have few other much longer and very interesting (to me at least) clips which could be put up somewhere.

Yeah, they put in the automatic clips with a different driver (or at least a different helmet and suit than Holbert had in the flying mile run) - I guess to help market the automatics.
