I used the same routine as swaybar, imperial hand glaze then blitz wax. The results were stunning but the blitz wax didn't stay long, even using a duster took it off. I tried zymol but it left a cloudy haze. Sure liked the smell while applying it, made me want to drink something with an umbrella in it. Now I use rejex, not having to apply it so often is a big plus for me.

Zymol: been using for years, it's the ONLY thing I've tried that's protected my red 911's un-clearcoated Glasurit paint.

I also won Zymol's wax for Porsche's competition: "Glasur", so I get it free for life @ $150 a bottle.

A orbital buffer allows you to put on a thin even coat which is the name of the game, it also allows you to work in the media with better results than by hand.

Hmm, maybe I was over-applying it, then. It honestly didn't seem any more slippery than carnauba, so maybe a too thick coating could explain that.

The other secret to Rejex is to apply 2 (thin) coats.

However....it is only a wax..with zero polishers in it.....the key to a good shine is the polish....how good your polish is determines how good your final shine is....I couldn't find a good picture of my 928...so here one of my friends viper I detailed last week...this was not rejex...it was a different sealant I use before I layer rejex....rejex would look even better!!

I haven't had a car recently that has a finish worth maintaining. So I'd have to say at present Mr. Zog's Sex Wax.

Seriosly, Rejex is all I use on the paint after polishing. I used to use Carnauba but it looks like crap after a couple weeks. The only wax I use anymore is Pledge, on furniture.

As a side note -- my '74 Z-car has paint so badly oxidized that it will not shine no matter what. Every couple years I scrub it down with "Soft Scrub" cleaner to get some of the oxidation off, then give it a coat of Mop & Glo. Laugh all you want it works surprisingly well on trashed paint.

I had a friend that used to work for a body shop that used to do a lot of auto wholesaling. He was into the Pledge shine and I was shocked at the results. Pretty funny but equally effective.

For all of you guys:
I use System One.
This is a 2 step polish/wax system that a friend of mine produces. They have been using it for some of the show cars of the Concourse d'elegance in Carmel every august. All my Fcar friends use it, i've been using it and it simply beats everything else hands down, specially if your car is black (black car owners, you know what i am talking about).
He doesn't sells it directly, but you can give him a call (his name is Tom) and tell him that Pablo sent you, he'll let you know where you can find his products.
Give it a shot, this is Very Good Stuff, and as i said already, many concours winning cars are poilshed with his stuff...
