Thanks Jon, but im no expert in that area, in fact, i have little experience with the bottle explosions.(thankfully) I would suspect, they would blow as designed. I get a little key'ed up with the bottle explosions we see on the web.
What i do know, is that i was pretty careful to make sure my 928s didnt get blown apart due to driver error.

Generally, its pretty safe stuff. just do the precautions I have listed and you should be good to go with no negative effects. (50 to 75hp)

stock plugs were just fine. dont know when you need to care about going colder, but i believe its not until you are over the 100 extra hp range.

Hi All

Just to let you know progress..

Just won an EBAY auction for a 100i kit (100 shot) which will make a good base kit to be added to.

Cost £295 inc postage and includes 11lb bottle (empty) and most other bits...it was fitted to a 924 S2..

I will also be fitting a bottle heater or heaters (if I go for twin bottles)

Also I am going to fit 2 rev-limiters and a progressive controller.

I will take some pics of the install if anyone is interested

All the best Brett

Sure, take pics of the install. Even better though- post up some dyno results/quarter mile times.

Hi Mark

Another question..when I fit the Fuel solonoid...is there enough pressure in the RETURN pipe or must I use the main fuel line ?

Hi Jim

Yes I know that but someone here told me that its easier to tap into the return and also that it has more than enough pressure...But...being a belt and braces man..I like to ask someone who has done it lol

The return line is open to the fuel tank so the only pressure is from the resistance to flow from a long line. The fuel pump puts a constant volume pressure all the way to the pressure regulator and only the excess unused fuel gets returned to the tank so under high RPM high load ,more fuel is being burned less would be bypassing and the pressure of the return line would be lower. Lower pressure into the same extra fuel injector equals less fuel. That would seem to make tuning somewhat difficult.

If it's a wet system you only need to have around 45psi of pressure for it to work properly. I'm not sure what "extra injector" you are referring too Jim? If it's just the Nitrous/Fuel nozzle you're referring to, the fuel rails sould be more than adequate for the fuel. I imagine there is a test port on the rail correct? I've never messed with the 928 fuel system so? Am I missing something?

I've never heard of anyone using the return line FWIW.

Jon you are correct plumbing from the fuel rail would be the logical way to provide good pressure and volume what was being asked about was if it was OK to use the return line as a fuel source. Call it what you will the fuel nozzle is an injector of sorts and flow is a function of pressure.
