If you're like me, you'll have the most fun with the security plate.

Don't forget to reattach the little white connection unit for the door lock assembly. I forgot that one and had to go back in. Upon doing so, I found the security plate waiting for me.

Whatever the metal or alloy it is that makes up the part, it seems kind of cheapo to me. Seems brittle in cold weather.

My $0.02

Good Luck

While I’m in there, I want to look at the window tracks or whatever guides the window up and down. While it always goes up and down, it is somewhat wobbly, noisy and much slower than the passenger side.

Also, the window trim around the outer perimeter has a 15 inch split/tear and hangs down when the window is open. I’ll add that to the list.

One last thing is the little courtesy/safety light in the door jam is missing. I have one of those in stock so now will be a good time to install.

Anything else I should be looking at while I’m in there? Any tips, advice or links would be greatly appreciated.

There is an adjustment in there that can help with the outside door handle to make it easier. I adjusted mine as it was hard to get open from the outside. Once I got in there I saw Item #41 was broken on one side. It has been like that for 3 years now. I keep waiting for it to break the rest of the way, but am in no hurry to replace it till it does.

Same problem here now. The link doesn't appear to be active anymore. Anyone have the guide for fixing the broken door handle linkage ? Thanks.....
