Yes.
I put an electrically operated Bosch compressor and air horns set up just behind the front spoiler grille so it's uniformly loud ahead of the car. The placement of the stock unit in the fender of the passenger side (US anyway) always baffled me.

I swapped the whimpy horns in our S4 to these Hella horns from Griot, louder but sounds like an Indian taxi (they were stamped "made in India"). Doesn't seem like the right sound for a Porsche. And not all that loud.

The local fire trucks have some pretty nice horns, loud and authoritative. Sounding like a fire truck would be better than an Indian taxi.

Anybody have any experience with these Griot air horns?

Search is your friend. I got mine long ago at Harbor Freight just like Borland and Jim M., but Griots also has it. See threads...

One of my horns started to sound very feeble. I took both out of their little compartment, cleaned the connections and also adjusted the little screw-in adjustment. Worked great after that, very loud, no issues. Could some of the "wimpy" horns need to be cleaned up and adjusted to give them their factory fresh sound back?

My horn was very wimpy when I got my car. There are supposed to be 2 horns in the S4, one high tone and one low. Come to find out the PO removed one of them and did not replace it, so that was part of my problem.

I just went through the horns on my 86 and one of them had a bad solder connection, fix was easy take the horn apart find out where the continuity stopped resolder put the horn back together then with 12V applied adjust the setting bolt till the horn is making its loudest noise. I actually adjusted both of them with the setting bolt.
The Fiamm horns that you can buy at PepBoys are really a good deal 22.00 for a hi/ lo horn set and they are loud
