Are all the dash lights supposed to light up when you start the car? Like stay lit for 5 secs and then go off after starting? What happens with mine is I will start it and all the lights will be on and stay on, or none will light and stay off until something happens, like a tail light "goes out."
Also, whats the deal with the bulbs is the dash? Last fall I bought a new flex circuit board and 19 new bulbs to put in my dash. I installed the circuit board fine, but the bulbs themselves are attached to the holders and when I tried to seperate the bulbs from the holder the bulb just smashed into tiny pieces. All I got was the bulbs by themselves, no holders. How do I seperate them?

Mine all stay on until I hit 2K rpm on the tach. I recently learned this is because the lightbulb on my alternator guage is out...something about having enough charge from the alternator to "excite" the system and turn out the other idiot lights.

Sounds like you bought the wrong bulbs for the dash - you need ones mounted into the plastic twist-lock "new-wedge" bases. In most of these the bulb is not removable without destroying it and in any case replacement is not really feasible... There are some that can accept a wedge based 5mm 2721 bulb as a push in, BUT - the stock 928 neo-wedge bulbs are NOT like this.
For the warning indicators you need 928.641.027.90 bulbs

Borys:
I had the same problem. The little 1.5W bulbs were a lot cheaper to buy than the bulb and sockets. For a reason! I crushed a couple of the suckers before abandoning the process. My only suggestion is that you try to pop them out from the base with a small eyeglass flathead screwdriver. You still run a decent chance of cracking the old bulb. Nice feature, eh?

Borys, did your bulb holders look like either of the two shown in the pic below? I was able to save all of my sockets and re-use with new bulbs, no drama at all.
