We just got in an 86 with a custom long Y pipe large diameter high flow cat looks like a 3 inch single into a Borla , then a Magnaflow and then a Supertrap end . Something for everyone !! No idea what it sounded like the car no longer runs.

 

maybe there are probe holes on each end before and after each muffler to see which flows the best? LOL

 

I have to guess it started out as too quiet...then too loud ,still too loud then hopefully, just right. Exhaust pipes are to many of us musical instruments and getting the "right" sound is all too often cut and try...try, try !

 

Not in my case.

1. Remove stock muffler
2. Install RMB
3. Start car
4. Enjoy the perfect music to my ears

Yes but after 13 years we seldom talk anymore , what is there left to say ? I have not yet learned to read the sound of his keyboard !
