Question 86.5 stock radio?

Someone is restoring their 86.5 back to stock and asked if there was any other radio offered for the 928 in 86 besides the Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23.
Anyone know or can direct me to some documentation?
Thanks

FWIW, I searched long and hard and could not find an offered option; compatible models from other Porsches, but SQR23 was the only 928 head unit offered...and I looked for quite some time.

Good luck!

John,
These were some of the options for that year.

Roger, is this list for ROW? Shows 86- as SQR 45 (2models) and SQR23 (1model) but NOT Monterey listed as the SQR23 model. SQR23 in other US Porsches I've found, but only the Monterey in US 928's and never a different series like the SQR45.

Source??

Roger,
Thanks for the help.

I find that PET sometimes isn't 100% on the year and doesn't help determine US vs. ROW market.
I wonder if anyone has access to what the dealer was able to order in the car for that year. Does anyone have an 86 with a different stock radio?
This is one of those technical questions that are the most difficult to answer due to limited documentation available.

John,
there were a few radios available in 86, if you go to each individual model and the particular year in PET, it will tell you which options you had
bear in mind, much of this stuff was available as a cross option from model to model, does his option code list say which he had

Did they ever offer the New York? The same face as the Monterey except its four channel with an extra **** for front to rear fade.
