Default Need Rennlisters HELP vs SCAM ARTIST

I recently was scammed out of $1200 on a complete used transmission from a ebay listing by a guy named ROB HACKSETTER AKA ROB HACK . This guy is known on some AUDI message boards as a crook...info I found out way too late.Dozman has also provided me with the info that he originally took the pic that Rob was using on the auction.
I need anyone that is in the area of HAINESPORT NJ. that is a attorney or in law enforcement or just wants to help me either return my money or get my parts.

the address is 908 East Park Ave Hainesport NJ. His cell # 609 440 6813

Short of doing anything illegal i think the $ is gone, but maybe we can work together to end scam artists like these.

Thanks

jason

Absolutely nothing is being done against people that make a living stealing fairly small amounts from other private individuals. I recently had an employee and found out that he made a fairly good living writing false checks to everyone he came in contact with. He got me for $4,000 and five others I know as well. He is still running around doing the same thing, even though one of the victims filed a case with the state attorneys office.
This SOB Hackk has been scamming folks for years now and same thing, no trouble from the law.
It absolutely amazes me what these guys can get away with.
I just hope he scams the wrong person one day and gets his knee caps busted.

I take it you didn't use paypal? Isn't there some other kind of fraud protection through ebay?

Or was this the auction that ended early because a side arrangement was struck?

I bought an interior from a wrecked '85 in Florida last year, sent money, one of the hurricanes interfered, then no answers to e-mails. I should send my ex-wife after it.

i got scammed on a Z site from a well know scammer, these people CONTINUE to scam from the SAME boards because there are new people everyday that don't bother to look up anything, just go to classifieds and give money away.
the ONLY thing you can do about the internet, due to multiple city laws are use the 'fbi internet' thingy which they DO NOTHING.
MULTIPLE people went on 1 case against this guy and NOTHING happened, we thought if 10 of us showed proof of theft and added the money up something would happen but NO.
even if you find a lawyer in town, he didn't do anything to prosecute against.
the only other thing than paypal you can do is ALWAYS send postal money orders, cause they are trakcable and a federal offense.... sorry about your loss, as mine was $300
