I've got copies of the 928RoadHelp lists that I'd be happy to send out to you guys. Shoot me a PM with your email address.

I got the most recent list from the source about a year ago, iirc, maybe more recently. I guess it's possible he's not maintaining the list anymore, eh? I don't remember who the source is, but if you tried to contact him F4GIB, and he didn't reply to you Dave, then it looks like that's the story. Anyway, he distributed it for free, so I guess I can too.

The last one I received was in May 2005. The email address had changed from the "charter.net" to:

928roadhelp@atlanticbb.net

Have you tried this? The original intent was that to get the list, you had to volunteer to be on it and provide assistance to 928'ers who needed it. That didn't have to be full blown garage help, although a number of folks volunteered that. Could be as simple as help finding a tow/mechanic/hotel. I found it very useful when my brother broke down in my '82 a few hundred miles from home. I hope it stays alive...it's a nice thing to have in the glove box.

I don't want to retract my earlier offer, but I'd prefer that everyone try the 928roadhelp@atlanticbb.net address before I hand any copies out, so that we can try and preserve the orginal intent of the list. I'd forgotten that one needs to volunteer to be on it before receiving it! I suppose it is better that way, so that no one feels taken advantage of.
