Default New paint and scoop

I just got my car back from paint and thought I's post a few pics before I wax and finish with assembly. I had to modify the hood because the SC pulley was rubbing a hole in the hood. The ghost shark on the fender was a late addition to the work, what do you think?
Have a nice day, Woody

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! thats a 1979 Chevy Camaro Z-28 hood scoop...

I never could figure out why it looked like that...since it was non-functional at best...

At least yours is functional...and it's blended into the hood...

BTW..love the all business look of the Forgelines rims and big red brakes..very cool..

Later,
Tom

It was the only fiberglass hood I could find that would form to the hood line, everything else was plastic. Tried a few other ways, but I just needed the hole covered. I may change it later if I get a wild hair. Later, Woody

Cross between a 550 Ferrari and 67 Corvette - I like it!

I don't like the front view, but the side view is very low-profile. Very subtle.

I think that scoop would look GREAT if it did not have the "V"-shaped front part.
If it just ended where the scoop exited the hood...

So, is this just cosmetic to provide more clearance - no air/rain goes inside?
