Interesting it appears that unordered packages are appearing on Bill's door step...

Default We all love Bill

Bill is one hell of a guy... helpful with all he knows and is willing to share his knowledge and insight on 928s. He is a really cool guy, i have met very few like him and i am glad he is a brother of ours in this community. I hope to meet him in person sometimes soon.

P.S. love how the white shark peels the tires

Sincerely,

Are those the ones that don't drain very well if you forget to unplug the vent hole?

This is one of these designed for using with a lift. Very nice! Since we had a Valdez-size oil spill using a makeshift oil drain that fell when we were working on your car, I thought you might have been involved. Of course, my wife has every reason to believe I ordered it despite my claims that, for once, it wasn't me.

Tomorrow I'm at Beth's house looking at her green car. Sunday, Dave is coming over. It's only wiring stuff, so I'm not sure anyone else but Dave and I would be interested. However, if the weather holds out, anyone who wants, come over Sunday.

That's a cool oil drain! But I had no prior knowledge of this - consider me innocent this time!

Saw oil drain like that in action at couple of service places I've
frequented, er visited.
Couldn't imagine trying to hold funnel while spinning drain plug loose
with HOT oil running down my arm. Yeah, I'm a wimp.

But I could imagine someone attaching hose to the biggest funnel they can find and then fabricating metal wire/rod to hold said funnel 5.5 feet in the air.
Funnel would catch drain plug so no fishing in used oil.

Ernest (NYC) Haven't been Kep'n Valdez in a while.
And Happy BB Wrenching day.

It was a quick visit... We went over the diagrams, marked up what to keep on the diagram. There's a few questions about PO add-ins, but I think we ID'ed the minumum for street operation. Also -- the tricky part -- I gave Bill a quick primer on how to relate the diagram to the physical layout. All he wanted was a quick nudge in the right direction, so it was a short visit.
