Good one, Larry! I see that I'm not the only one who doesn't like to tell people what car I'm buying something for.

Using a different supplier, I will be able to get it down to $67.95 each, and only $22 shipping.
Some retailers offer to sell for less, but pad the shipping, so be aware.

As before, I do not put my name behind it until i have received it, inspected it, mounted it on top a 928 and tested it. I have one coming to me now from this new supplier to make sure it is just as good of quality as the last (more expensive) one I bought.

and this is why ultimately I feel comfortable buying from you. so far, ever cent I have spent (well over $1500) with you has been well spent. the next government funded trip I take over seas, I will be enjoying one of you SC's with any luck. if you make this a package with the MM, will you be offering any package deal type incentive? I may need this soon... MM and all.

Tim - you made my day. Thank you for the nice comment.

Actually, that is part of what we feel you are paying for. A 928-guy to buy it, inspect it, and approve it for use with a 928.

I have been asked why we are not selling crank scrapers yet. Same reason why. Because, according to my information, there is no 928 engine running with a crank scraper installed just yet. And until we get some miles on them, you will not see them in my store.

OK - the replacement is here. Different color, same basic design, quality is as good as the first. And $100 cheaper! I'll list this one for 67.95 and $22 shipping. They can drop-ship for me so you get it faster and do not have to pay for two shipping charges (one from them to me and one from me to you.)

Whenever I say for some reason that I have three Porsches, I always come back to "But only one is running".

It matters not that I could have not spent a dollar in the last four years on any of these cars and just wrote a check for a freaking Z-06, but thats another thread.

Its the point that Porsche sometimes is not the best name for showing one's "frugality".

I park far away from certain clients when meeting them so they do not see the car I drive. It can get in the way of a sale.

I know exactly what you mean - I have done that too. As a GM at a software company, when I went to a client's site, I would not drive the Porsche. I'd steal the wife's Subaru or the Minivan (shrug). Pulling up in the Porsche might suggest that we charge our customers more than we needed....

Now, running 928 Motorsports - I better drive up in a 928 every chance I get!
(And the Parts-Runner is a Chevy Tahoe and we hide IT)

Go figure.
